Christian Louboutin is back to accompany fans on a new journey. Each year, the brand introduces a cabas bag design, as a way to convey the spirit of passion for travel. This year alone, not one, but two versions of GREEKABA were released.

Inspired by land and sea, each design on the bag depicts Mr. Christian himself during his adventures in Athens and the Cyclades. Acting as a guide for the designer is Miss Tependris and the poodle Pepe.
This is the creative design of multi-talented illustrator Konstantin Kakanias, also a close friend of Mr. Christian. With playful and evocative artwork, both bag designs celebrate the rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship of the Mediterranean region.
Designed for the first time on smooth leather, the Land GREEKABA edition features Ancient frill-inspired textures and drawings in warm, earthy tones. The illustrations are also varied and realistic: When Christian gives his friend Tependris a custom pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, at other times they both raise a glass to welcome Christian.
As always, his designs are always integrated with unique cultural and spiritual elements of the region. The inner lining of the bag is printed with LOUBIEYE motifs, simulating the legendary “blue eye”, which is said to protect the owner against bad omens – “evil eyes”. The bag straps add a subtle touch when accented with pearls made from satin and metal.
The signature Caraspikes stud detail is refreshed in matte white, inspired by the pillar architecture of ancient Greek temples. The Land GREEKABA version, in addition to the cabas line, also has a small bucket bag, a CARASKY bag and a LOUBIPHORE with a new shape inspired by the ancient Greek amphora.
In addition to GREEKABA, there is also a capsule collection of men’s and women’s shoes and accessories inspired by land and sea, with the most striking details of these two bag versions.
As with every cabas bag launch, a percentage of sales will be donated to an association. This year, the donation will go to “Together for children” (TFC), a Greek non-profit organization consisting of 9 member organizations, to provide immediate and effective support for children, youth and youth. disabled people and their families. By creating educational programs specifically for children visiting the facilities, the aim is to help them build positive thinking, inspire creativity and develop self-expression – this is also the are the core values of the Christian Louboutin brand.
