When we can’t travel the world yet, we can let our mind travel to the lands. That is also the idea for the Dream of the Sky photo series. With a view of an open desert and blue sky, in brightly colored costumes; The human mind is also opened, directed to a new space.
Accompanied by bright costumes, symbolizing Summer sunshine and joy such as orange, yellow, pink… the model’s makeup style is also in sync. Tropical shades are utilized by makeup artist Benoit Claverie. The focus of the face focuses on the lips, or eyes.
ANTHURIUM PHOTO SET: THE INNOCENT CHARM COMES FROM THE SIDE BUN

24-year-old photographer Alwin Maigler from Germany. He is a member of the BFF, an association of freelance photographers that includes members such as Oliviero Toscani and Peter Lindbergh, and collaborates with camera brand Leica Camera AG. Alwin Maigler’s photography style always leans towards nature. For this set of photos, he also used a Leica SL2 camera with a 35mm lens, which maximizes natural light into the frame.
For the Anthurium series, Alwin Maigler chose a sexy style as the main theme. The name Anthurium comes from the red anthurium, a flower that has symbolized sexuality in the West for hundreds of years.
The charm is reflected in the bodysuit and lingerie from the DSTM brand and the styling style of model Siri Koerner; balanced with soft natural light, and a somewhat innocent side bun.
In English, this side bun is also known as Space Buns. The reason is because it first appeared with Princess Leia in the Star Wars series . Princess Leia style bun is low at ear level and wide, but over time it moves to the middle of the head and becomes smaller in the style of a garlic bun.
The side bun became especially popular in the 1990s, thanks to the promotion of Baby Spice (real name Emma Bunton), a member of the Spice Girls. The blonde-haired singer and her sunny smile have linked her innocent image with this bun hairstyle.
