Srawch was established in June 2020, at the right time of social distancing because of Covid-19. At first, photographer Nguyen Minh Duc was just looking for something to do and be creative about during this time as his family has a 30-year tradition of jewelry making. Gradually, he and his wife, Russian designer – Nate Boo – had more ideas and decided to establish the jewelry brand Scrawch with concepts from the Baroque period , from unique and imperfect things. .

Scrawch is inspired by nature, from the garden of Germany and Nate Boo cultivated. Inspiration comes from flowers, branches, drops of water or whatever natural phenomenon is happening around. Jewelry is designed in a rough style, with natural stones to keep the original beauty of the jewelry.
In terms of materials, Scrawch uses raw stone combined with sharpened stone. The use of raw stone helps to minimize the loss of raw materials. Any single rough stone can take on a unique and valuable beauty. Therefore, the price of the product is not low, but the value customers receive is not small because it is unique. These designs are therefore not merely jewelry to be worn, but also a gift that can be kept for a long time, and can even be passed on to the next generation.
During the process of customer use of the product, the brand will guarantee and encourage customers to polish or renew, reuse stone and silver from old designs to make new designs instead of discarding them.
Mining and metallurgy have a negative impact on the environment and we can only mitigate it to a certain extent. Therefore, Srawch always tries not to waste stones in any form. The chipped stone will be re-sharpened, the bad stone will hit the design hard, the broken stone will try to recycle. Of course, to do that, designers and craftsmen must constantly invest brainpower so that jewelry wearers still receive products that are crude and unsophisticated.
The brand will focus on developing more sustainable designs , in the near future will introduce more product lines with different materials instead of just silver as now.
